I did find Sylvia Volk's site and actually downloaded as much as I could. It's suffering from link rot, unfortunately. It is wonderful, isn't it? Her AO3 profile is https://archiveofourown.org/users/Sylviavolk2000/pseuds/Sylviavolk2000. It's missing most of the fics, but there's a least a few there.
I've contacted SWC's spambot DW and left a comment, so hopefully I'll be added. I don't see Highlander listed in the interests there, and the journal does say that it doesn't have all the older fics, but hopefully there's a least some up there.
